Lynn Rhoades, Co-Founder, Executive Director, Writing, Acting, Vocal Coach

Ms. Rhoades' love of performance art and young people merged with her passion for social justice to give birth to the idea of honoring the voices and vision of our young people. She studied writing, voice performance, musical theatre and political science at Carson Newman College, and received a Master's of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, on the old Wake Forest Campus. She served Wake Forest Baptist Church as Associate Pastor for 11½ years, where she directed the children's choir, plays for children and youth, and developed children and youth to lead, read and sing for morning worship in Wait Chapel. For 15 years Ms. Rhoades has worked on the college campus, as a youth minister, and in the urban community for cross cultural understanding and social change, utilizing arts in worship and stage forum. She currently serves as part-time pastor of Danbury Community Church, and is a founding partner with Pen and Voice, LLC.
